Fire Resources…

Hey Everyone! It looks like the fire baton has been passed on to you all. I'm up in the Bay Area and over the past couple weeks developed a routine of sites to check regarding fire:

Official Fire Resource Information that is usually updated twice daily: CalFire

Great Fire Map Resource with satellite data to show exactly where the fire is burning: NWCG.org

Watch the fire burn in almost real time – you can watch up to the last 12 hours and there's different locations to view: Alert Watch Fire Cameras

And the last is more subjective and controversial – this is my preferred source for localized air quality because you can look at real time data as well as averages so you know when to open/close windows or go outside safely: PurpleAir

Good luck! I hope you only need these resources today! The last few weeks up here have been hell on earth.
